OK I got the hint re. "this is possible to do in one case" so now I know you think the way I've asked so you do it - all OK here
Regarding the blocking - yes I fully agree it is needed to prevent fake files and a must otherwise winmx can't be used.
The issue is how can such be made simpler - and transparent to all. I do not think any bad ways anyone here or other group is doing, contrary to some who try to scare users about it. But perhaps doing this in a simpler way, such as a manual daily update with list of IPs or rangers, and a good firewall could work as well. There are such programs as you know availavle, which will block those sources, if a list is updated in a central place.
Regardless the method, yes I do agree it is needed.
I did read the document you have pointed to. To me its clear and makes sense.
Well this is even more a pitty all gorups cannot work together. You all want really the same thing that is how I feel. I talk with you, you make a lot of sense technically and I see you do want to help the winmx community - for that I can only exprese my thanks. I talk with the other group - same thing. Get an impression that they too care about the community and also mean well.
Alas to sad it does not work to unite. I do trust you have tried and they rejected it.
