With the new patch I am connecting OK but I cannot search for WinMx files. I can with OpenNap. I also cannot whois/browse myself from chatrooms. Is there a solution please?

A few suggestions.
1. Refresh your connection if you're secondary.
2. inability to get list or browse usually = a block from either a ruoter or firewall block.
3. suggest checking your winmx ports for connectivity at
http://winmx.dnsalias.com/scan/scan.cgi4. start-run-command- ipconfig /flushdns
