the other reason isp,s dont want to get involved in policeing copywrite is the simple logistics of it all........
actively monitoring every communication in real time and checking that any data is copywrite protected or not would place a huge strain on any isp.......and of course the accuracy of any list would be suspect as it would be compiled by the cartel and not an independant body as it should be, after all how trust worthy are the cartel................
as has become popular practice is easier to simply block all p2p thru traffic shapeing even thou most of what is being transfered isnt copywrite protected isps simply cant monitor everything.........
and of course by passing this checking would be childs play and the isps know it.............
as an exercise anyone useing winamp can check there files against copywrite protection you will be shocked to see how many of your files aint protected................
reality is the cartel is looseing the war and badly and so are now resorting to any and all means in a futile bid to stop file shareing........
i saw a article on tv about a company that monitors p2p networks in there own estimation there is over a billion files transferd daily and growing.................so much for the cartel and copywrite................
