Can't get thisputer where people in room can download from me. Connection keeps timing out Added Ports to Fire Wall settings
In Provider added the service have time out seto 120 for timeout HELP

Hi Mrs Patsy,

Sounds like you either have a router or DSL Modem that may also need ports configured. If you like you can either post the name and model of it and we'll find the guide for you or you can have a look here:

And scroll down, find your Brand, then model and then on the next page click the WinMX from the list, This will give you the guide you need with step by step instuctions.

thanks the modem and router seem to be one int he same it is netopia 3341 it came from Century Tel. But now I have even worse problem. My puter crashed and we reformatted. Of course I lost winmx i used 3.54 beta. Now I can't fina a download for it. Anyone help Once againThanks
