I am unable to connect to the network after Sabre (using a proxy & different username) leaves my channel in a fit of anger over me using his own logic to justify hosting a clone of his Big Tits room, just like he has hosted a clone of mine (TSC) for the past year. (around 9:30 am)
Other users confirmed that they never lost the ability to connect to the network by using his cache.
Blocking of my IP at the peer cache level is suspected.
After replacing every instance of his IP in my HOSTS file with a WMW cache IP, I connected immediately.
Blocking is confirmed. (2:43 PM)
Sabre has proven both the ability and the willingness to selectively block users from the network, at the peer cache level, and he will use that ability to block any users that he doesn't like or doesn't agree with, and thereby violating their rights to free speech by removing them and their chatrooms from the network

Its seems if your not a friend of Sabres its ok for him to block you from the peer cache he operates from work using software made by Ranma for the winmx commnuity that Sabre has taken for his own and refuses to share even with his fellow team members, once a rat always a rat eh folks.
This is the same guy who declared it was "impossible to block the flooders", and convinced vladd and the others of his lame claims, thats the mentality we are dealing with here, luckily we all  knew a lot more than Sabre whos fraudulant "winmxblocklist" blocks not a single flooder, a shame on him for that alone.

This state of affairs wont last long folks as many pie folks are now expressing interest in operating their own caches to avoid this censorship, some idiots like Sabre never learn.

This comes, as you can imagine, as no surprise to me whatsoever whilst many have heard me speak out against the insane idea of having KM in charge of any portion of running the network, what is probably not so well publicized over here is my feeling that Sabre is right out of the same mould and should have no power at all either. This simply proves the point Sabre as per KM will manipulate the WPN in any way they choose to if it suits them, they will hold users to ransom with their caches, KM will drop users and poison with is faulty WCS, meanwhile Sabre sets out on a mission to filter users and exert his control.  Whilst it is true Sabre used his influence to hold PIE back from blocking, he was only able to delay this process and influence some, when it came to the crunch, i was able to better persude VLadd and others to back blocking.

The sooner Sabre and KM are shown they are not bigger and more important than the community the better, this is just another example of why a new and open source patch is required, power must be spread around the community and power crazed idiots like Sabre and KM need to be made history.

On a lighter note looks to me like April is hosting a big tits room, i can only imagine what she has available in her shares.

nobby your right about sabre he an arrogant, maniplative, self obsessed child who cries if he dont get his own way, i've had a run in with him myself from what he shares in his files,, he has no respect for himself or other peoples rooms all because he holding the caches and he thinks he's "god" of mx. I always stated the most important criteria for operating a cache was that it must be open for all to use, you are censoring who can and can't use it, this brings up many many issues both legal and moral, not to mention it's just plain wrong.

I have to add a few things here.

Everyone knows Sabre is about as trustable as a crackhead holding your bag of money. This is not a suprise, and in fact, many don't realize that the peercache that Ranma made took a lot of assistance from KM. He has been helpful on both sides of the fence. Although you don't hear much thanks for his effort.

I also have to say that wmw is NOT equated to what Sabre is doing. Sabre is again trying to be childish and doing something stupid out of anger. This is not the case with blocking the IPs KM is referring to. There is a poisoning of the network occuring and KM has been asked several times to fix the issue, and if he ever does, there would be no reason to keep blocking IPs.

No different from blocking the cartel IPs that are poisoning the network. Although, I will be quick to point out that this is due to a small bug and NOT an intentional sabotage as the cartel are doing.

But this is a long way from wmw being an elitist group or ordering people around. Call it what it is. It is wmw still giving a damn about the health of the network.

And KM, can you quit filling this thread with all that OVERBOARD profanity?

Zero, you can't very well complain about profanity if you are gonna on the next posting get hyper and throw around a bunch yourself. That draws AWAY from making your point, and you have been making some good points.
I wouldn't have really cared at the language had it not been for the "way too much" amount KM used on the last post. (And yes KM I know you did it to show that you can. But we already knew you could, so no need to prove it...)

Anyway, this thread was started to show what Sabre is doing in a malicious manner...let's keep on track here.

(and for any conspiracy lovers out there: they have blocked and missed the same IP Addresses of mine)

seems if both sabre and quicksilver dislike the same person, that person isn't allowed to use winmx at all... good job i released the software so anyone can set up a cache, although it's certainly a lot more hassle that most users they censor from the network would bother with

I do not control the Peer Caches so your dream of trying to lay that on me is fading fast.

To my knowledge btw your not blocked from any peer cache, although I think it should happen until you stop attacking the network with WCS.

All most people here are seeing is a foul mouth child who cannot accept the fact that the community has worked together and delivered on its claims, we all take care of keeping the network and the winmx spirit alive, your finger pointing and blaming someone who has no control over the 9 independent cache operators shows just how out of the loop you are.

Take your anger elsewhere child, you should accept that your no longer forced to carry the load and the responsibility it brings, so just sit back and enjoy the freedom you told the world you wanted, and leave those doing their best to keep mx alive to do so, anything more is just spiteful and beneath you.

What I said was any IPs were being blocked because of the poisoning of the network.

Looks like theres more tomfoolery from Sabre today, earlier on folks using the pie host file where treated to Sabre abusing the update bar to place a message pretending it came from another user who had kicked him out of a chatroom, this of course has caused much alarm and many think the pie patch is now compromised due to this message, talk about an own goal
