Vladd44 forum is back a full year after being taken down!

It's great pleasure i can report the forums at Vladd44.com are now back up and running 12months 
after it was taken down. The site had suffered a ddos attack and at the time, the owner decided to 
move on with other projects, now after 12 long months its back on the Winmx scene, but with a 
twist. It seems the original owner Vladd, is not responsible for the resurrection of the forum, 
but instead long time friend and admin Plymouth Fury, this seems to be confirmed by a post on the 
site to this effect.

The site is currently offering forums for Winmx, MXpie, Bit Torrents, Ares, as well as the general 
p2p, video and audio help, plus of course the Cesspool un-moderated debate forum. There are some 
addition new forums expected to be added shortly.

The site was once the premier Winmx help forum with several thousand members, and played an 
Important part in the resurrection of Winmx after a legal threat had forced frontcode to pull the 
plug. I'm sure many will be delighted to see the forums taking their rightful place once again.

Should of left it where it was, a cesspool of power hungry morons would better sufice its discription.

i wouldnt recommend going thier, itsstill full of winmx pay sites, infact isnt their a policy here that links to sites with payfor winmx adverts will be removed. Im not sure of that so for now ill leave it be, Maybe nobby you can see about getting them removed, seen as you are so happy to see them.

You are quite right Tiny, this sites policy is not to endorse or allow links to sites with pay WinMX on them but I suspect these ads will now be removed to ensure harmony in the community as I,m sure there are many ads that can be run on that site without affecting the revenue potential.

For the sake of peace and quite I think we should allow this post to stay and leave the link alone, of course I reserve the right to remove it if it seems like the ads are not being taken care of, but having just looked I see no ads of the sort we find offensive, lets hope a more friendly attitude is now possible between the WinMX using groups.

Hmm I just spotted these two on vladds site, I hope they have gone in 24 hours or I will remove the above link and any others, I think its only fair some time is given to allow for a bit of cleaning.

If you read the post, the site is currently not being ermmm run by Vladd, i seriously doubt the ads you have concern over will be filtered, as i doubt Plym would have access to the account, feel free to remove the link, last thing i want is an incident over 1 link, its just not that important, however, i would point out 2 things:

1. Like the site or not Vladd44 forum has played a huge part in the Winmx community over the years (half of WmW have been members), its return is news worthy, i beleive i posted it in the correct section for community news right? I see no reason to remove the post, if you want to remove the link i wont be bothered or surprised, please go ahead, but to remove the post would be ridiculas.

2. If you have a policy of not linking to sites with the ads you refer to, why do you constantly link to news items on Slycks and indeed your link page, if you look on the Winmx relevant sections on slycks, you will see the same ads as at vladds, if your gonna have a policy, stick to it, anything else is hypocrasy IMHO.

Just something to consider, im not gonna make a mountain outta a molehill, if its just an anti V44 thing, i would rather someone had the balls to say it rather than hide behind a clearly hypocritical policy.

I guess it wont hurt to add links for this site on there then will it ?...strange how re-opening the site has no mention of pie wanting to join the effort pushed so much here for linking up on a new universal patch....big news i would have thought for all your existing members on re-opening ...i guess not

Hypocrisy ? Hmm I would have chosen those words a little better than that Nobby I was cutting you some time to do your best to ensure no more would-be winmx folks get duped into purchasing pay-for-winmx.

Let me rephrase this then, we do not endorse sites that claim to be winmx support sites that make clear links to pay for winmx solutions as to do so is to commit an act of hypocrisy.
Some would say a site set up as an exponent of "freedom of speech" that subsequetly denied most of the posters that right is more apt of the label.

I will comply with your request to remove the link and whilst I did think it was a positive sign to have another winmx forum, after reading some of Plyms words to users on the site I'm not so sure it is good news for the community, lets hope I,m wrong.

I will add this bit...

I don't see a dbl standard regarding Slycks. They are a news outlet for all p2p. It is a lot different from the 2 main winmx sites (being v44 and wmw). Slycks doesn't promote any patches and is not a winmx help site.

However, I would also like everyone to keep in mind nobby's sentiment for posting this. It is indeed news for our community, and I am sure he meant no harm in it's posting nor offense to anyone.

I have to agree with hell also, it would be nice to see you guys get a link for wmw on there somewhere too....

Well Scyre, Slycks does have a Winmx guide/tutorial thats lists pretty highly in the search engines, this would be a place begineers would be drawn to, so no, its not just a news site.

As for the link you refer to, does this count on a forum Sticky?

 After going and taking a look at vladd's forum and looking at one of just a few threads that are active.I came across one of the most disucting pic's ive ever seen came close to being sick. I can't speek for this site but id thibnk twice about linking top a site that allowed such pic's knowing that minors do use and trust this forum.

 Understand im not saying for vladd not to allow such post im just saying this forum does not and id not knowingly send a minor to such a site. I must ask is that a self photo of the poster? If so id suggest lots of cheese to help bind her up.

due to my shoddy connection i actually got really good use out of quickmx (pre shutdown -- i havent used it post shutdown) -- the rapid fire search found and picked up where my connection dropped me off at rather than leaving me to hang for 2-3 hrs...
