if it takes too long to get connected to primary...then get connected to secondary first then switch to primary.... it works!!!!

What is "too long" for people? I think it would be good to know what kind of connection issues users are having. For example, I got connected within minutes this afternoon and tonight I've been sitting here for 40 minutes already with the yellow light flashing.

after 30 minutes I would restart WinMX, if it still didnt connect I would then do the dns flush and restart if I was on XP.

Start> Run type  'cmd' hit ok
then type 'ipconfig /flushdns' hit enter and restart
