My understanding is Yahoo already agreed to the deal. At least as I heard it on the radio the other morning. MS already owned the second most popular chat messaging software. Now they'll own the most popular. Probably both wil be united into one. It can't be called a monopoly however because my understanding is there is still AIM messaging and Trillion which unifies all of them anyway. So they haven't broken any laws as of yet but Microsoft's motto has always seemed to have been "If you can't beatum honest or dishonest just buyum and get it done with!".
