Hi MistaDabolina

Could you please tell me what firewalls  you are running?

Also have you tried forwarding your ports? If no, try http://portforward.com/routers.htm and follow the pages to winmx

Please post back and let us know how you get on.

Ok  mate are you able to tell what other programs you are running all the time on your system? like anti-virsus etc..

And can you also please tell me if they have updated in the past few days at all?

Hello Tig,

your splendid ;-) you asked the right question ...

my virusscan Kaspersky Anti Vir ... i have updated a few days ago ...
and what happens ?
they made a change for the new update ... in observing the ports ...
now no more all ports without special ports like the older version but now all ports or only your choice ...
now its completly different like the firewall from XP
its now my choice to say which port to observe or every port ...
its no good idea ...
couse now it checks only the few every normal user know ... or all ... mmh

but the good answer i can give ;-)
the yellow light in WinMx goes to green,
if I choose observe only special ports ...

do you now how many ports will now open without a check ;-?

thanks very much for your advices
and happy weekend

MistaDabolina

goes for sharing ;-)

Hay mate

You only need 2 ports for winmx. These ports are usually tcp and udp. The numbers that are normally used are 6699 and 6257. As you now have it working you will see that these ports match the ports in the router and with winmx.

And Happy Winmxing :D
