Its not stupid at all ..  :D

You can see how many primary and secondary connection you are holding at the top of your screen.

P= primarys S= secondaries spm= Searches per minute that travel through.

The only way to know for sure who is connected to you is to use special programs called TCP viewers.. we have some of these on the Goodies page...

The main concern for what secondaries you have right now are the flooders that are trying to steal your bandwidth to flood  the fake lists through you.  Best thing there is to either be using our WS2_32.dll or Sherwood to put a stop to them.

hope that helps ya some ..

Fish the Ws2_32.dll Patch is a modified system file called WinSock, that KM designed to allow your WinMX to find the new peer caches and connect as close to the way the designers of WinMX programed it to do.  This modified version does reside in the C:\Program Files\WinMX folder with the WinMX.exe file.

This is a added file and is not part of the WinMX 3.54beta4 version.  That said the install 1.9 offered from the WinMXGroup does have an installation function for WinMX.exe and the ws2_32.dll Patch.

So the answer is basically if you get the Install 1.9 Patch then you have both available, if you simply download the WinMX 3.54 beta 4 from our Archive or another location then no you wont have that file included.

Hope that makes it clearer for you..
