Is there nothing that can be done to wipe out the o of o availible hack so winmx can again become a file sharing programe ?

Honestly this discussion has be beat like a dead horse in many places on the site, a simple search for 0 of 0 hack or the likes there of will get you all the mud slingin angriness and suggestions about it anyone has at this time.

I use leechammer - as it is a pretty effective tool against the 0 of 0 share hack.

If we get rid of the 0-0 hack can we also get rid of people with 0 files and people with 5000 jpeg files with generic names like 00000?

Sharing is so 90s.

Hi Majax

I would like to say on this sharing is part of the winmx community. The zero hack did cause some issues in the sharing of the winmx community. Sharing is not just about been the 90s.

We all are winmx users and we all have files of something to share so we all should share.

That is not the case about Ghostship we all look at different things that have been and will be brought to our attention. It does not take much to look at the addys. Ghostship is one of the stronger members of the community and will look at that stuff more than some of us others. As for 'gets em off' this is NO such case we bring things to each others attention all the time. Ask any of us. Please refrain from bag mouthing any members here.

I do think where the member posting is already registered or registered under 4 names etc its in the best interest of the community to let folks know of that to avoid abuse. I understand not everyone will be happy with the idea but to be honest most people dont post under different names so it affects very few users and in some cases I havent drawn the information into the public arena becasue the poster wasnt creating any drama, those doing so should be honest with the rest of us and post under their own names.

As for sharing being so "90's" perhaps your on another network to the rest of us ?
