hi,
i have found (people?) uploading the same file continuously (every 10 20 min) on browsing one of their files they had the file 7% uploaded, yet they had upoaded it 3 times from me.. i cancelled the last 1 1/2 . i recognised the name, otherwise i would not have noticed.

this has happened on several occasions.

hi, I first noticed this when i had a queue, and the same person kept getting on the queue and downloading the same file from me. after browsing their files i sent them a message thinking that they had made a mistake , no reply (from any of them) i eventually had to clear them from the queue of REAL people downloading from me. they seem to be time wasters

The particular file involved was used to track the multiple downloader who is a genuine user, the consensus here is that the user is on vista and suffering from the permissions problem which seems in this case to make their mx not update the amount of the file they have, thus they will keep on downloading it ad infinitum.

We also made a test download from this user and all was fine, the user involved did not reply to any messages and so we are unable to let them know they have a problem, if anyone else sees this sort of activity please for the moment notify us in PM here with the title of the problem file and if possible the hash of the files along with the user-name involved.

So in short nothing to be concerned about but stay alert and notify us of suspicious events when you spot them. Thanks folks.
