you most likely just haven't come across a source that is able to give out more than 25 k/s... maybe due to them having their outgoing limited.Give it a bit more time and maybe try for a movie so you can get a multisource download and check the speeds then. :)

Hi Slayer, please refer to this link as mentioned in the tutorials:

https://www.winmxworld.com/scripts/bandwidth/

This will test your speed and give recommendations

I personally check "outgoing" and it helps my download speed

It's all a matter of trial and error, tweak accordingly! Also check all your other settings (ie your Settings button) accord with the general advice given either on "help" or "tutorials" section

Good luck and if you need more help please visit us in the Help Room

Good luck!

A few things to keep in mind,
Using the bandwidth limiter in winmx will cost you some bandwith to overhead, close to 1 Kb/s per down-/upload.
If you have downloads running some outgoing bandwidth is needed to maintain the downloads.
To obtain the best download speed the best value to limit your outgoing bandwith at is in general about 70% of you maximum outgoing bandwith.
If you have no active downloads, disable (untick) the upload limiter to give maximum uploadspeed.
