Author Topic: I keep having to reinstall the winmx patch (Read 4909 times)

Hello.
I have Vista home premium and have downloaded the new winmx patch. I can open the program and it works fine. If i get out of winmx, and try to open it again, it just keeps falshing the yellow light. I need to download the patch all over again, and then it will work...
Does anyone know the reason for this? Thanks in advance for any help.

save the installer to desktop instead of clicking run. and then right click the fileand select run as administrator

Have you forwarded your port so that you router will allow the traffic to go to WinMx. If you are unsure please let me know and I will provide a link to help you set this up.

I did as Bacon665 suggested, and it worked perfectly. I had to uninstall Winmx first, but then it worked fine, and still does. THANK YOU very much for your help.
