Since all topics are being locked concerning spamming and attacks and the sharing of info, I have opened a topic for such issues on my site so people can discuss there matters. Of course you won't be welcome MAX since you destroyed my forum by deleting posts x2 which I was accused of in the end but everyone else is welcome to air out their differences.

Seriously, what's the point of a discussion forum of WinMX issues / Spammer support can't be discussed. LOL

If it pertains to the spamming problem, then post away. If you just want to rant and rave, please take it elsewhere. There is no reason why grown adults should act like children. This spammer is acting like a child, and has caused some childish behavior from a few. Why would we let this person or persons do that?

Since I was kicked from the room when I went to discuss the gossip that was going on I guess I'll have to use this topic to respond.

What is up with Mind and myself, since so many are so curious to whats going on at MXMadness is this..  Mind has a new job and little time to work on WCS not only that he has his own project he's trying to finish. If I want to continue with WCS at the speed of light, I will have to find another programmer. Chances of finding another good / honest programmer like him at this point is slim to none. Will WinMX go up in flames if we don't produce a mere uptime fix that seems pretty irrevelant since it took me over a month to even find someone to test it and really it wasn't a WCS user complaining about it, it was a Rebellion cronnie Richy sent to the site since he's banned. Threating to pull the plug on me over it?

Yeah I have many issues right now that I think ya'll should say to my face rather than discuss them behind my back and then kick / ban me from the room when I go to defend myself. No doubt I'll be banned from here now for coming and defending myself.

Let me make the point that this is not a locked topic and as far as I am concerned won't be. I have never edited out any comment by anyone. I made a simple request for people to try and get back to the spirit of WinMx. Is that so hard to do?

Discussing methods of mitigating spamming is one thing, which I would consider as a perfectly good use of this thread, but a lot more has been discussed other than that. As i said earlier, some people seem to have a hidden agenda.

Merley custodian of the code eh? What I did for this project is this.. I compiled them, tested them, and released them. Both the Windows and Linux versions. Provided help and support for WCS (all versions) and put up with everyone's bullcrap at the same time. With people like Bluey running the show in WMW, I think you guys are gonna find WinMX fails faster then you'll even imagine.

lol  raven bluey  talking like he is a veteran user on winmx  he hasn't been admin very long in that help room and really  you have more knowledge than most of them in there  i am glad i opened my eyes at one time i really like winmx world  but the treatment of ppl looking for help in there is a joke  throwing a website at the person and being rude to ppl  threatening  others  really makes a lasting impression on new users in the last 2 weeks i have personally  helped 4 chat rooms go up by setting up the configs  for the ppl myself  2 ppl i set up  just basic bots for them as well to me that helps winmx . throwng a web addy at a new user and saying go here and then laughing  and calling them noobs  or worse  being amused  thinking you are alot smarter then them is just hurting winmx  and i just want to say now  that help room in wmw  is crap now because of what my topic for my chat room is against  no arrogant admins no ego trips  especially by admins you have in there that  would be lost if they didn't have that  outdated bot in there to pop up where to go to for a problem  and to whoever may have thought my  bot was copied from that stale outdated bot in there you are wrong very few links to get stuff for mx   is directed to wmw forum i have my links going to more unbiased  sources  and i have more usefall info that i have been adding all the time  i met pri through janz remember her another  disgusted old time room user pri offered me a thing which i liked that his bot does and i told him no i would work out stuff myself  i know i am not a coder but i dont sit and blow air around like i am some expert like some of the arrogant morons you have there  and bluey  and nook  raven has more knowledge  on programming in her pinky than both of you put together and has done more for mx as well than both of you  keep up the great work my room will get better because of the ego's and attitudes in there

To set the record straight it doesn't make much sence to try and keep up with 3 threads on the exact same issue and the other 2 were obviously only for use to play the blame and flame game which was and is not acceptable. While locking both of the other threads I left direction for any remaining posts on this spammer to be directed to this one. Hope that clears things up for the thickheaded people.

Hey, great news everyone, I looked out of the window today and there’s a whole new world out there ……. But this world is real. Aren’t we getting a little consumed by all this cyber silliness, does it really matter if some immature person puts a couple of lines of text on out computer monitor then runs away like a scalded cat? The spammer just makes me laugh now, with all the precautions people are taking he’s reduced to a short and pathetic outburst that’s lost in a few seconds, or a PM that only one person can see. I agree with Nookycrook, the spammer is just a lonely person who probably just needs a hug. If he’s reading this now I would say he could ask his mother for a hug …… if he ever finds out who his father is he could ask him too, then he could have a group hug. Personally I think the spammer has done more good than harm as he’s united people on MX and got them talking again.

Now to other matters …. I never said GhostShip was Father Christmas, or controlling him, I just thought if I looked at him with big old puppy eyes he’d buy me a train set. And as for Father Christmas being a myth, well that’s just slander. You’ll be telling me next there’s no such thing as fairies …… if that’s so, explain Robbie Williams and James Blunt!

Also, as it has been mentioned, people who make or modify servers …… good on you and thank you for keeping MX alive and making it interesting. I have no idea how much work goes into this, I’m just an end user, and I salute anyone who does this unselfish act for the good of others. I think you all deserve a big thank you from every host, admin, agent or member that uses MX for relaxation and entertainment.

Finally, I’ve made configs, bot’s and other support for more rooms than I care to remember, but I’d never say I’ve made a room. A room is an extension of the owners personality, no amount of clever triggers or silly games makes a room; people do.

Let’s get back to the MX spirit, and let’s keep it cyber …… but if I don’t get my train set I’ll throw a hissy fit and hold my breath till I go purple.
