The font size has been changed a little.

It is now a percentage of your browser set default size instead of a fixed size before like the rest of the site too.

If you say the forum size is big the main site should be even bigger for you then btw, lol.

Let's go with this for a while and see what others say and if there's a great demand for it I may just do a copy of the default theme with the old fonts to chose in your profiles, ok?

Larger font size does help those with poorer eyesight. While on the subject of changes, I like the WinMx logo in the middle of the top line as demonstrated on the radio page. It not only looks good, but looks more professional.

ok, I went and put the base font a little smaller.

Everything is still adjustable in the browser by using another font size there, but the percentage is a little smaller now.

How's that work for everyone?

oh, and btw - as DaBees mentioned I've been playing with the top menu bar a little but it wasn't quite finished to vote, lol.

Anyway, if you guys wanna have a look and post some opinions, here's the links:

Those users can just hit CTRL and hit + and the size will go up by one on every website they view. This way whenever I come here I have to hit CTRL and - then when I leave the site hit CTRL and +

Why inconvenience all of us for a few people? If they have poor eyesight they should be doing the larger text thing everywhere as the font size used on this site is standard everywhere on the web. There is a saying don't fix what ain't broke.

This is still about the top bar though, not about the home page design

I've hinted before that we might do a redesign of the whole site theme - if and when *someone* has the time to do it...

That aside - any more opinions?

Now I'm replying myself

Since I've had no replies to my question if the font size is acceptable now I will assume it is.

For anyone that would like to have big fonts I've made a copy of the default theme.

Just go to your profile and change your theme in "Look and layout Preferences".

The theme is called "Helios_Multi BigFonts" and as a bonus it has the top bar from test1 which will be the version we seem to be going with

I found an odd small bug in the breadcrumbs trail.
When you highlight the WinMX World :: Forum part of the breadcrumbs trail, the Topic: part highlights too
