Can not Connect to peer

Recently because of a PC failure I had to reinstall Windows XP with SP3. I used the Winmx install, which I got from here and Winmx was working fine until the last one of the many XP's  :/ updates was installed.  Now Winmx Peer will not connect.  I get some sort of warning message but it does not say anything (see attached). Unfortunately I don't  know which update it is.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there any fix for this?

Could you try reinstalling the full setup files from https://patch.winmxconex.com
and let us know if that changes the situation.

Also just to be sure, delete the winmx folder in program files (if that's where you installed it) before reinstalling from the above files.

If this doesn't help the issue, can you also let us know what operating system you are using, it might help.

YAAAY! I am connected again.  I uninstalled winmx, deleted the folder and cleaned my registry.  Then I download the file again, reinstalled.
Works again, thanks :-D

My OS is  XP Pro with SP3
