Different colour writting

Hi
Last night my winmx crashed, so i restarted the program and now some of the saved incomplete file are written in blue while the others are black.
What do you thing caused this and can it be fixed.

Ihave an adsl connection thriugh a  dlink router and using xp

You say you restarted winmx after it crashed, but have you tried rebooting your pc? A reboot can do wonders sometimes.

I assume the different coloured files are in winmx's incoming file folder and not actually in the winmx program..
this would suggest you ran out of space and windows disc clean-up utility compressed some files..
the blue files are compressed..

You right, all i have to do de-compress the files and all will be well,  right The strange think is I have 17gig of free space

hi, you may have your disc set to have a % reserved wich could cause that .. just a quick guess
