Australian Cartel Group Ordered To Pay $4M Court Costs
« on: June 30, 2010, 10:53:00 pm »
The media mafia dont like it when the tables are turned it seems...  :-D

http://www.p2pnet.net/story/41328

Quote
Justice Dennis Cowdroy has ordered AFACT to “pay the costs of iiNet and those incidental to the proceedings including costs thrown away as a result of the abandonment by the applicants of their primary infringement claims against the respondent”.

It’s not the money that hurts. $4million isn't even pocket change for the mega-billion-dollar Hollywood studios which report eye-popping revenue increases year after year.

They were taken on, and beaten, by a lowly ISP.

No doubt these media mafia types will make some further claim of poverty etc before trying to cut a deal that spares them admitting their shameful monopolistic activities in full.
