MinMX Will not Connect

Hi Cbal,

My first thought, even though you say it worked previously, is to make sure your ports are set in that modem.  Most modems can be found here:
http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm

Find your brand and model then follow the links for WinMX and Ares.  When you have this done the other obvious thing might be a firewall, especially the XP firewalls.  Please be sure that you have either disabled the XP (if you have another one) or configured it as per instructions here:

Let us know if the problem persists or if its ok..

Thanks for the help, all is well now.  It seemed it was probably  the ports needed to be set to the modem.
