I recently had to reinstall WinMX 3.1 due to the WinMX.exe becoming infected with a virus. But now it won't let me connect to any of the OpenNap networks other than the basic 12 that are automatically installed with the porgram. I try to import the different WSX files and I get the pop up that it has encountered a problem and needs to close.........then it closes out the program. Can y'all help me figure out what is going on and how or if I can fix it?

It may be a good idea to make a completely new winmx folder and delete the old one in program files , something sounds corrupt, use this multiple versions installerand select 3.31 if thats the version you like.

I was not aware winmx came with with wsx files as standard so perhaps those file are the corrupt ones ?

Take a look at these older wsx files, most of the networks are still operating so its ok to install a dozen.

if you have servers there then it is using an existing install and is not a clean install, which could well be your problem if your winx had been messed up, make sure you completely delete the entire winmx directory and reinstall, you should then not have any opennap servers listed
