Like the names dont have to be colored just like the words.

that wouldn't fit with the winmx style messages for things and would be more RCMS style than winmx style, and WCS is meant to be winmx style

You could have it so only the messages convert the color codes into color. But I have an idea that you could add/fix. I just got the newest WCS beta and I ran into a problem. There seems to be a limit on the text format you can use. I have it setup so that when I login, it gives me my own custom text format. But if I try to use too many color codes or characters, it will give me an invalid login error when I try to login. Am I the only one with this problem?
