WCS server

I have hosted rooms on winmx for years and used fx server for most of them but found many people dropped from the room but thought nothing of it, there is also other bugs in FX that other may know about. Anyway i thought i would try the new wcs thats being developed by a dedicated couple of people trying to bring a stable secure chat server to winmx hosts. I can say without doubt that the new wcs is as stable as a rock i do not see groups oF people drop from the room anymore  the interface is as easy as FX and indeed it only took minuites to convert from FX to wcs configs etc. I would urge anyone to try this new wcs and see for yourself how good it is and what a good job the team behind its development have done so far. There is even a version for linux. For the latest version go here :

This isnt really a "new" wcs which may be what wonderer is getting at.
What raven has done is fixed minor bugs that were in the last version of wcs.

I read this earlier and decided it was a bit of advertising of the fact WCS was still available from the mxmadness site that I looked at also earlier and found nothing offensive there directed against us ( nor any advertising  ) and so decided to let the matter sit.

Is there anything thats particularly annoying in this for you Wonderer, perhaps your aware of something I,m not ?

This post is no different than ZCS and ES enthusiasts posting updates or news about those particular servers

AutoAdmin= is used to automatically grant full access (*@!) when joining using a loopback hash,
this saves the host time by not having to login,
to enable set to 1, to disable set to 0 which is default.
(only works when you join using a loopback hash, i.e 0100007F1A2B)

! access is used to protect from kicks, bans, kickbans, exiles, aswell as redirects.

NOTE: On Windows however, you still have the ability to perform these commands on users from the server window...everything else should be self-explanatory (I hope)

A bit more than some "minor bug fixes" don't you think?

Sure theres been a lot of fixes for bugs that existed in KM's last version.
Those fixes and new features is what makes an already great chat server even that
much better.

Anyways i think the original post is nothing more than informing users and hosts that WCS is alive and well
and is a stable, secure, viable choice in chat servers.

Well considering their is already a sticky thread in this section advertising this addy for WCS, i would categorize this as spam. Albeit for a change useful you are just regurgitating the same information so now their are many threads instead of one. Can you please refrain from this and keep all WCS updates in this thread   https://forum.winmxworld.com/index.php?topic=8342.0.html  so our users arent required to hunt through many mostly useless threads for tips of tweaks or for the many different splinter versions that are knocking about.
