Uploads Won't Connect - OpenNap

Have no problems downloading. I'm connected most of the time to 10 servers. Anyone that wants to come in and upload music from me and it won't connect. It just times out on the user. Do I need to port forward using OpenNap? If anyone has any info for me I'd appreciate it. Would like to get this problem fixed. Thanks.

Hi Lakehavasu, it is common to forward a tcp port for Opennap (8888 & 7777)

However the problem your seeing could well be ISP related its pretty easy for them to block transfers of whatever flavour they choose as Opennap is not encrypted in that area.

What I would like you to do is the following:

Download the TCP Viewer and run that, then fire up your Opennap client and ask a friend to try downloading from you, with the TCP viewing tool you can see what port is being used and then you can check whether that specific port is unmolested by any firewall or router/modem issue using the online Port Tester.

Sorry to take this off topic, but my curiosity got the best of me lol. I punched "lakehavasu" into google (wondering if it was an actual place) and what a story behind it. The actual London Bridge was dismantled and moved by sea to california usa and then transported by land to arizona and rebuilt there. Who says curiosity is a bad thing
