FOR ALL THOSE INTERESTED:
Sorry I haven't responded to my original subject
Have a new baby on the way and all has been hectic lol
I reinstalled the new patch and everything is ok at the moment.
Looks like a freak event the first time or a system fluke.
I think you have yet another winner KM! Thanx for all your hard work
As for the comments on deciding what goes on someone's machine, YOU CAN DECIDE. However don't expect either patch to leave the other one active. They cannot work together. So, if you are petty enough to be upset something didn't ask you first (yet you obviously are aware of how it works because you note the difference in the newer version) then you need to wear a disclaimer around your neck saying "I am looking for simple foolish things to be annoyed at" and then call it a day.
Or, you could just write you own patch with all the bells and whistles you like... Maybe have it tell you that you look beautiful today...
As for me, I will appreciate the work that has been done, and not pick apart someone's effort. The only time you will get a complaint out of me is if there is a serious issue, or a clear cut case of abusing my trust. So far, Something has been written for free for the entire community and it is to help keep us all together. And to my knowledge not a penny has been made by the author or have we ever been sold out. That is integrity at its finest.
So, use which ever patch you like best. And enjoy the community. Nothing is forced on any of us. I just happen to like the additional protection offered by the WinMXGroup patch that helps keep flooders to a minimum.
Best Regards, and Be Good!
