ok i see..i will remove P2P list

It feels god now. i have used Winmx for 21 hours now..and it survived the night

and most funny...its Winmxworlds patch now..and no crash to desktop either

perhaps all this whas a combination of flodding attacks thath some how affected Sygate and killed me connection

cause sygate have not been active this 21 hours..if i start it again im afraid it doesnt will end good

This does sound better so far.. keep me informed how you get on. Also are you using now the XP firewall instead? you do have to open ports in it for MX but some form of firewall is best.

Yes i use XP Firewall..the ports are open, i guess you are refering to the message "would you like to block winmx.exe from acces the internet" thath type question you get..

Yes thats exactly what I meant as long as the ports are ok, the firewall is on, and your connected and enjoying MX all is fine.. keep me posted.

Hi Blå_Mocka,
if you do see that message asking you if you want to block WinMX obviously its no, you want to allow it,

if you are using the standard XP filrewall (not sp2) Click Here

if you are using the SP2 XP Firewall Click Here

after 28 hours active with winmx the connextion finally died

and a reboot was this time required

(cause sygate was allready closed) 28 hours is long..so i guess i should be moore happy than 1 hour atleast

but i guess the mystery is still not solved, perhaps i must consider whait for my new network card and replace the motherboard card with it after all?..im running out of thauts
