Hi there,

I would like to manually check what I've downloaded before sharing again. While not passing judgement on others, personally I want to share only stuff that the artists allow to be shared. (Including myself, I'm poised to share a shedload of artwork I created.) As for downloading; well, same thing really. I am happy to pay for what I want, even happier to get stuff people want to give away, as in; the artists. So that's why.

Can this be done?

And second, can I use parameters to exclude hits from searches?

Im not entirely sure what you mean by 'check'  But I also check files before I share them.  If you mean to change the folder or desitnation of your Incoming Files to a place that is not 'shared' by default yes this is easy...

Make a folder on your system for these new downloads, and then go to WinMX Settings File Transfers > and click the Incoming Files folder button near top right that says 'Change' and browse to your new folder.  This way all sits tight until you have a chance to check those files.

You can use this symbol in the lower box of the search ' - '  to exclude -words, -letters, or -numbers.
You can use this symbol in the lower box of the search ' ~ ' to Include ~words, ~letters, or ~numbers.
