running 2 winmx programmes at same time is it possible ?

hello all

have a question, is it possible to run 2no  mx programmes at same time? currently i run 3.54 if anyone knows of how to please let me know or which other version my be compatible thanx.
         ps not realy important just an idea lol

well it is possible but will be  a hassle at best


if your using windows XP all you have to do is the following

make an extra account on XP

install winmx on that account

change the ports on winmx to another set of ports from the ones u are allready using

that way u can switch between XP accounts and run both winmx's at the same time

Theres a program plusmx by emulator that lets you use more than one mx on the same pc, httpss://archive.winmxworld.com/Emulator/PlusMx/

Well typical problems will be ports and firewall When I tried it out I sat wondering why nothing worked only to find out I put all of then on the same ports..... Not recommended at all lol

hi again

well i have sorted my problem of running multi mxs, i've actually had 4 running at one point. but it seemed to be to sore on my system so i guess i'll just make do with one lol.

Be Careful to run them on secondary and not on primary. If you want to be on primary, run one primary and let the rest be secondary...
