I would be very curious to know what exact router you have Hakkou, name and model so that we can see if there is a possible problem there. If uploads suddently stop working its usually settings in WinMX have changed from non default ports to defaults (ie; with reinstall or rerun of set up wizard in cases of hard crashes), or its going to be a port issue in the router/modem used, often this is the case the last possible problem would be the ISP which as we determined with ??? switching to 'Unable' cured this so it couldnt be the ISP.

Let me know what router you have and also what other antivirus and firewalls you use and we'll see if we can get to the bottom of this for ya.

Sorry to jump in on this thread but it seems alot like the problem I'm goin thru now.

operating system xp; modem is a westell 6100; running thru an ethernet card. ports forwarded thru xp as well as westell; version winmx is 3.54b4 clean install; ports are notated in the winmx settings; have I missed something?
They(uploads) dont seem to be connecting with the unable to send and receive tcp's/udps check as well either. However I'm able to download. Help

Hey no problem for jumpin in

Lets see a few things sorta confused me about your situation so for a test Id like you to first do this

Go to WinMX Settings > Incoming TCP set this to Unable (temporarily)
Now click on In/Out UDP and do the same set this to Unable .. again just for a test.

Restart WinMX and let me know if your uploads work ok this way... post back and let us know if they do or dont plz.

Great News me here. I further studied some other posts knowing that it was likely to be port related and lo and behold i followed up on my dsl modem settings went to the settings page; re-enabled them and it now is working primary or secondary. It seems since i bought a new system, that the ip address had changed. The only thing of note seems to be slow upload speeds for users who are uploading from me. I did the bandwidth test and have tried to set that according to test results. I'll post back & let you know. Bless ya.
