...continuing from 'keven is back?' in winmx lite...
@GS; other than switching back to KMs patch or hosts with pg2 to get it to work again im lost for ideas... i dunno what it is the community patch is doing that causes winmx to not show search results except for -very- popular files and even then only a handfull show... upnp always gets turned off since it has no effect on a system that has no upnp functionality.... so im guessing thats not the problem but is there a bug? blocking hosts users doesnt seem like it would be whats wrong since kms patch wont even connect to either a hosts or community using primary.. is that 'dll lockin' whats letting (forcing?) it work?
ports are wide open... both udp and tcp... ive tested this many times.... there is no firewall on the windows box (its not connected directly to the net) nor does my isp do filtering on winmx... tested that too...
all ears on suggestions....
