I read this very unprofessional news item and found it hardly worth bothering with except for this small pece
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/music/4438324.stmThe IFPI said users of P2P networks including FastTrack, Gnutella, eDonkey, DirectConnect, BitTorrent, WinMx and SoulSeek were facing action.
"This is a significant escalation of our enforcement actions against people who are uploading and distributing copyrighted music on p2p networks," said IFPI chief John Kennedy.
I suppose we are all going to start quaking in our boots ?
The muppets behind this cretinous campaign should be named and shamed instead of hiding like the scum they are.
They steal bandwidth from thousands of users with their flooding system and their members infect tens of thousands of machines with a trojan as well as stopping independent artists from showcasing their products.
In short they wish to keep the monopoly they currently enjoy straight out of the 1950, s ark
Strange that they are now claiming to be targetting something they where crowing about closing down (WinMX), wish they would make up their minds
Did you all notice he didnt say anything about downloading folks, seems to me he is admitting its legality
