Author Topic: Help, Can't Connect to Open Nap Severs (Read 3357 times)

Been using winmx for years. Just built a new computer and now I can't coonect to Open Nap. This is what I have,

Windows 7 Ultimate with allowed winmx in firewall settings
Using a Gigabyte Ethernet Connection port
Linksys E2000 wireless router and I did my port forwardubg with the corrent last 3 numbers
Using Tcp port 7000 and Udp port 9000

I have tried everything I know and I can't connect to the open nap servers. Anyone have any other ideas?

Hi Mike are you using a fresh servers.wsx file? if not you can download it here

also make sure your login name contains no ascii characters.

Hey thanks for the reply. For some reason it didn't like my user log in name. I chaned it to (open nap) and presto it starting working. Just wondering why the username has to do with connecting to the nap severs?
