Locating specific users within WINMX

Hello all! Need help!

I'm trying to locate a specific user within the winmx network. I found out there's no search option to find specific users My partner and I cannot seem to find eachother after searching for a particular file i.e. "Star Trek TOS". Zillions of matches come up but his username does not show...

Any clues on how to find eachother? Tried Hashtag #Username but no result.

if you are looking for them on the wpn try joining the same chatroom....

if you are looking for them on nap make sure you are connected to the same net...

there is no 'hashtag' on winmx... however if you have an incomplete file from that user you can search for them by right clicking and clicking 'search for alternates' (wording is a bit different i cant remember the exact) ... a new search will pop up with HASH>{long string of nonsense} on the second line.... this will reduce the false matches and may find them....
