some nap servers you must be registered to use (hence the password field) ... either by the email listed in the naps motd (the motd for nap servers goes largely unseen by winmx users unfortunately) or by using the 'set password' function of the nap client (i dont know if winmx has a set password function)...

wpnp doesnt work atm and the opennap half of mx is not all that great in comparison to many other nap clients...
