still like the theme that comes with the forum software but the default theme is much more readable now...

I love the new design. One slight complain. If I use the default theme the part where it should say

"Hey, USERNAME, you have 0 messages, 0 are new.
Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts."

Is missing.

right now I'm configuring our default theme and am reinstalling mods etc - the default theme is usually used by 2 people, they can wait a bit

one quick way is to look at the word 'messages' at the top.. if you have new ones there will be a number beside that...

That header is hidden by default.

Depending on which theme you use you need to find either the little + icon in the top right corner for the old default theme (beside the time)
or
the the v shaped icon also in the top right corner besides the smf logo in the new default theme (curve).

Hitting either of these buttons will show the header - just like the little traingle icon besides the home button does in our defaault theme

hahahaha, .. don't worry ...it's just me

- at top page the enlarge font buttons are not explained (I think it should have at least an "Aa" mark next to it
- on the places where you can login there is no longer a "remember login info" button
- the top menu button text does not match the width of the globe images (and they repeat kinda ugly ... last one is cut in half on my screen)

but most annoying...
- the background of the forum does not match the images of tables anymore, I think the back should be the same colour (black) or the images should be made transparent. (it looks very amateuristic or like a broken forum to me

)
- sigs lately seem to come with a scroll ...maybe even avatars do (I'm not sure but I think I saw that somewhere)
