A new awareness campaign

I'm on a new awareness campaign, hopefully I'm on the right track.

with the auto find sources setting, the greater this setting is the less often we search the network.
If we all searched the network less often there wouldn't be such high bandwidth demands on the primaries.

If we all increased the value of this setting, we don't loose much in the way of downloads, but it could dramatically help the network.

What do you guys think, is this a campaign worth persuing?

Yes its definately worth persuing but there are other things that might be even more important also.  For example using the -user filter when searching!!  This not only eliminates the fakes from your searches and downloads but keeps the file flooding Macrovision from being able to dos attack primaries that dont have them blocked by using peer or our patch.

I think if you want to raise awareness we should make it an all round settings and protection campaign.. (actually I have been on this, but dont have the time to get to the rooms with it).
