Can't Trade Files After Installing Router

I just installed a router, and now I'm unable to share files, uploading or downloading. I opened the router's firewall, but still no go. Any ideas?

Hi brotio, providing some details such as the brand and model number of your router, along with windows operating system ie: win xp, win 7 or other, will help you get sorted out quicker

The router is a Linksys E1200. The computer running WinMX is using XP, and the other computers in the network are running Windows7.
