If you download and distribute copyrighted material on the Internet, or share any information that governments or corporations find inconvenient, you could soon be labeled a threat to national security in the United States. That’s the aim of a bill in Congress called the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA).

It seems the first casuality of peaceloving folks is the theft of their freedoms by repressive fear mongers who are too spineless to stand up against terrorists and become simply reactionary stable door closers who act after the horse has bolted and use any excuse to pretend they can police the entire world even when its clear they cannot.

When is someone going to grow a pair in the US and demand the government stop using fear to enact draconian legislation thats then hijacked by monopoly corporate interests ?
