Do you mean your winmx is not connecting?

are you trying to connect with a primary or a secondary connection?
is this a new problem and it was working fine before or is this your first recent attempt at connecting and it's not working for you?

I always used the primary connection however I got a virus and had to reload winmx they want me to use a secondary connection which is a dial-up. I have a DSL,BROADBAND att universal. How do one use a proxy server to use the primary connection.

what do you mean when you say secondary connection is dial up?
the secondary connection on winmx is just the method you use to connect to the network, it has nothing to do with internet connection type.

when I sign on the lite mstays yellow and the message on says connecting the lite does not go green like it use to

where did you download winmx from?

sorry for all the questions, just discounting possible issues and hopefully we'll be left with the cause of the problem
