hi Dicey,

I dont know of anyone having problems with that server no,... This sounds like there is still something blocking the ports.

Be sure you set up two rules in that router/modem, one for udp and one for tcp seperately.
Verify that you set those for the correct Internal IP, this can be found by going to your Start > Run  type  'cmd'  without the ' ' in it
Then in the black DOS box type this  'ipconfig' and hit enter..
Look to see that the 'IP Address' matches what is in the router rules.

Now if your using the XP Firewall be sure its set to allow those ports seperately also.  If you dont use that as a firewall make sure its disabled.  They turn themselves on with updates and such..

Norton Firewall must be set to allow and also the Internet Worm protection that comes with the Antivirus must be set to allow WinMX.. if your using those.

Once you have these all set make sure you WinMX is set correctly and the ports match what you have in the router/modem..

If that all fails I suggest you visit our list of WinMX Friendly Ports and try changing to some different ones from that list and try those ..

Let me know how you get along ..
