An Ohio man is crying foul after he was detained and interrogated by the feds – because he wore a Google Glass headset in a movie theater.

The bloke, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he was pulled from a screening of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit at the AMC Easton Town Center in Columbus by men who he claims identified themselves as US government agents.

After being told to step outside the theater, he was accused of using the Google Glass headset to record and pirate the film.

Lets give this guy his due it must have been hard to have held back from turning in a fictitious character just to satisfy the "homeland"  security folks with their over active imaginations, I would have had them driving all over town just for the fun of it.

id sue for harassment, both the theatre employees and the fbi...

one thing the mpaa must realize is that google glass is just a 'prototype' of things to come... these devices are going to become just as ubiquitous as smartphones are now.....

i dont know if they will take off, we can't let managers or sales people start using them, or they will die like the bluetooth earpiece

considering that ppl text more than talk by a large margin the bluetooth earpiece doesnt really have a use with 'regular' cell phone users... the earpiece also wasnt the whole phone, just an accessory, so i can see how it didnt take off too well... ....bluetooth headphones on the other paw..... thats a different story...

The saving grace for Bluetooth headsets is that Plod cant nobble you for mobile phoning while driving. You can answer a ringing phone without touching the phone, great for certain classes of professional drivers
