In an expected move to take out the pirate bay whilst both of the potential operators are locked up it seems the Swedish police have acted within the last 24 hours.

File-sharing news site TorrentFreak said that at least one man was detained in connection to the case. The fact that the national police IP chief is involved at this early stage suggests something sizeable, according to the website.
Other torrent-related sites including EZTV, Zoink, Torrage, and the Istole tracker, were also taken down after the raid, along with Pirate Bay's forums such as Suprbay.org, Bayimg.com, and Pastebay.net.
This was going to happen sometime soon as with the two operators in prison this was the perfect time to strike, but how long will this last as its a certainty that someone somewhere will be working to restore the bay.
