ModName:  ntdll.dll
ModVer.     5.1.2600.2180
Offset:       Number changes each time

Sending error report gets response publisher no longer promotes program.

The error message appears at different times during different functions. ABle to load library and upload files and enter chatrooms but have had the error message show up during all procedures.

Gus, the owners are no more - that's why we need the fix in the first place.
There is NO sense in sending an error report at all. Please try to save the error txt file though if possible and you know how.

Any one having an error message and WinMx Closing needs to do a few things in order for us to find out what is causing this...

we need your system information
What operating system?
What version of WinMx?
What patch ?
Any other software or programs running with/or for Mx?
What firewalls and antivirus are you using?
Are you using Peer Guardian?

If your on XP, rename your WinMx folder in C:\Program Files\WinMx to \WinMx2
Install the 1.9 patch for a 98/ME operating system, this will give you WinMX version 3.53 with an olepre32.dll patch,  this patch will NOT BLOCK flooders so its important to use either Peerguardian or put them into your firewall if your on a primary connection..

The previous grid patterns were taken over a period of a few minute. Evidently, the problem is rolling shutdowns of peer caches, which is a problem external to WinMx user's computers.

If it runs it will keep running until the peer caches get shifted again.

The last major event happened on a holiday week end when the network was more vulnerable because the WinMx gurus were most likely to be away. It looks a bit better now. Did anyone on your end have anything to do with it, or is it that the bogies are still at play and don't have it dialed in yet?

I called the friend who introduced me to WinMx. I had him check the peer caches at his end and we went over them together. He hasn't been on in a while, so I doubt anything came down via the Internet to him. His reading of the peer caches matched mine.

I can confirm your reading from my own Wavoka and the cache servers that are giving trouble are under the control of Sabre who was with the pie team, so there is nothing that can be done on this side of the fence.

I have spoken to a pie team member and they have been told it is being looked into.

Path that is a huge number of primary users in those ranges.. i dont recommend blocking them yet.. I would however be interested to know more about where these numbers came from.. what you used to gather them and determine they are flooders..
