DOES IT MEAN THAT I HAVE SPYWARE?

after installing the peerguardianm. somethimes i can see some of the IPs blocked is my ip address. does it mean that i also have spyware in my computer? if yes, how can i remove all these spywares? is these spywares affect the speed and the connection of winmx as i keep disconnecting when i am download files.

Welcome to the site..

Its normal to see your own IP address in Peer Guardian, this is just telling you that the block came from your IP address.. its normal and means it working fine.

As for spyware, its very common and if your worried have a look at this page:

There are many good tips for preventing problems there.

Yes it is normal to see a block from your own IP address. My first suggestion to resolve this is cleaning your internet cahce (Temporery Internet Files). cookies in your temp files and other forms of spyware may be attempting to send info to another pc. You clear your temps you clear your cookies.
