Panda Virus Scan infected???

Under Online Tests/References on your links page there's a link to Panda Virus Scan. Out of curiosity I checked it out and as soon as I began using it an Avast security message came up showing it as a Worm. WTF? Is this something you might want to remove from your Links page or am I just being stupid?

could be because of the fact that most virus scanners have to do very low level things on the system in order to detect some viruses, which can be detected as virus like activity - that's why it rarely works to have multiple virus scanners because they just spend the entire time fighting with each other

Panda is a safe online scan to use, but as KM said many of the onpc av programs will detect activity as an intrusion.

Its best to deactivate your onpc AV while you run the online scan, they work fast this way also.

Another thing you can find with online scans.. the Online scan finds files that your AVG as in a vault, sorta just the opposite of what you described above..
