WPN SERVER ! its confusing me now , my first problem with this bloody thing is that it does not connect , and yet still .... IT CONNECTS ME !!!! now my second problem with the server why does it keep banning em from my own chatroom lmao , after 10 mins of hosting my chat room it boots me and bans me lmao ! n e ideas peeps ?

Could you clarify this for me? What connects, the network page has a green light?
Your room?
Uploads or downloads that are not connecting?

Also what are you hosting with, Winmx or a Chat Server?

WinMx is not centralized. The servers you might be talking about are chat servers. Each user hosts their own chat on their ownc omputer. WinMX does not host them all. WinMX simply gets everyone connected so they can send you the channel name and info for joining.

could you explain in more detail, please?

work as in.. it wont connect? or you cant download or upload?

does your winmx say "patch operational" or "Please be patiant" at the top?

Remove your copy of winmx and remove all firewall rules of winmx.
Reinstall and say allow to the firewall message asking you if winmx should be allowed to connect.

Make sure winmx is on the allow list of your firewall
