I don't know the reason why someone had to disrtrub the daily operation of WinMX, which really made me so annoyed.
I have to use the patch program in order to make my WinMX work.

I have been using WinMX v3.31 for several years, but one day I found that WinMX was closed down due; fortunately, with the help from this Forum, I can connect the WinMX to the network again.
But problems are that, since the use of patch program, the time of connection before I can download any files becomes longer and longer.
Sometimes, I have to wait for ten minutes before I can share files with the others.

Could anyone tell me how I can shorten the connection time?

I love WinMX more than others do, I swear!
I wish the world of WinMX could last forever!

I have found that on secondary I sometimes get a long connection time, usually though its within seconds.

Make sure your using the latest 2.2 patch from www.winmxgroup.com/

If the problem persists and is constant let me know again..

I am using WinMX v3.31, and don't know if this new patch can be applied.
I am making Secondary Connection to the Network, will this latest patch help much?

There are several programs in the WinMX Group website, which are
Install-2.2.exe, Install-2.2-noMX.exe, and WS2_32.dll, which one should I install?

I saw a message in the website, "...When you download WinMX, you're getting what is needed for WinMX and only what is needed, no bundled spyware, no ads, no B.S. "

HI Kwfine,

Yes the new patch can be applied to your WinMx v3.31, although you have to lie to it and tell it you have 3.54.. lol

Easier to just download this file:
https://www.winmxworld.com/files/ws2_32.dll

Place this into your C:\Program Files\WinMx folder. If this asks to replace a file say yes. Do this with WinMx off of course.
