MXControl Bot set-up help

I used to have a WinMX room but gave it up. Now i want to re-start it but I cant remember how to do some of the commands and the examlpes and help given in the Tutorials doesnt work!! Can anybody help?

I guess I need you to be more specific about what you need help with.  The commands and help in the tutorials sections for the MXControl Simple Bot do work, so are you attempting to do this in a WinMx room, because many are RCMS based commands on that bot..

Or are you having troubles with a WinMx Hosted room?

MXcontrol will work in both winmx 3.31 & 5.53 as well as wcs, fxserv etc.... i run 1 in an fxserv hosted room fine, i can help wi basic setup using the mxc config with notepad... commands look like #chat help# responce looks like "type rules to see them"  so it would look like this in the mxc:

#chat help#  "type rules to see them"
#hello bot#   "hello %NAME%"
