Ok first post so please dont flame me to bad as I did use the search button.

I notice that may users have a disclaimer message that appears in the window when you browse a user. How can I insert this disclaimer type message and can I customize it with my own disclaimer.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

LOL first off Meat Stick, Welcome to the site .. this site isnt like most.. you wont get flammed here for asking questions..

although i would just like to point out 2 things...
1. it is useless having any files like that, for the simple fact that nobody has to browse you to download files, and even if they do they have at no point agreed to it
2. even if the above was not the case, even if they did perhaps send a PM to you saying "i agree", then it's still a load of rubbish quoting laws that do not exist

plus of course the obvious fact that it's a waste of time in the first place... i freely share my files with anyone who wants them, including those working for the copyright owners... although i don't know why they want a copy from me, but they can have one if they want...

Thanks for the reply's. Of coarse the message is about as worthless as can be, I just wanted to add a custom message.

Well, making a sequentially numbered list of files with filenames meant to convey a message is not brain surgery after all. All you need is notepad and some words.

And as to that 'warning' message in the zip file, its a hoax. there is no such privacy act signed by clinton or anyone else. pure urban myth.
