RIAA scourge on the move

Quote
RIAA scourge Ray Beckerman, founder of the Recording Industry vs The People blog and possibly the first lawyer to get loudly and consistently behind RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) victims, is leaving his former law firm, Beldock Levine & Hoffman.

He'll be travelling about a block-and-a-half away to Vandenberg & Feliu on East 42 in New York city, where he'll be a partner.

Going with him will be another ex-B, L & H attorney, Ty Rogers, who also acts for people being persecuted by Warner Music, Vivendi Universal, EMI and Sony BMG. He'll be joining V&F as a counsellor.

"I feel this is a good long term move," says Beckerman.

Beckerman formerly acted for Patti Santangelo, the New York mother who next month will be the first to challenge the Big Four Organized Music cartel before a jury in an open court.

p2pnet readers have been supporting her with donations through the Patti Santangelo Fight Goliath campaign and we'll be running a much-delayed update on what's happening with Santangelo case in the very near future.

Plenty of good info here http://recordingindustryvspeople.blogspot.com/
